GBTI makes charitable donations

GBTI makes charitable donations: The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry last week extended Christmas cheer by donating $1 million to nine local charities. The recipients were the Periwinkle Club, Uncle Eddie’s Home, the Salvation Army, the David Rose School for Handicapped Children, the Guyana Red Cross Society, the Guyana Relief Council, Food for the Poor, the Dharm Shala and the Guyana Society for the Blind. According to GBTI’s Administrative Manager Sean Noel, the annual donation made by the bank is more than a decade-old tradition that aims to support and assist each organisation by enhancing the work that they do.
