Georgetown Football Club (GFC) booked their berth in the quarterfinal section of the Mayor’s Cup knockout football tourney, dismissing Den Amstel by a 2-0 margin on Monday at the GFC ground in Bourda.
Vurlon Mills, coach of the winning side in an invited comment said:” I think we stuck to our game plan and played discipline throughout the 90 minutes. I think they (Den Amstel) were frustrated because they couldn’t get to penetrate our defence.”
