Agricola moves into second place with win over Herstelling

Agricola Red Triangle edged Herstelling Raiders by a 1-0 score line when the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports (MCYS) sponsored East Bank Football Association (EBFA) Pee Wee tournament continued yesterday at the Grove Community ground.

An own goal in the 10th minute by Shoran James separated the two sides. With the win, Agricola moved to eight points and occupy the second positon behind league leaders Craig Primary who also possess the same points but have a better goal difference.

In the opening fixture, Mocha Champs and Grove Hi-Tech played to a 1-1 draw. Devon Padmore opened the scoring for the home side compliments of a sixth minute strike. However, Jamal Thom would equalize for the visitors as he found the back of the net in the net in the 20th minute.

The action is scheduled to continue at the same venue on Saturday.
