Fudadin cleared to play against Jamaica

Guyana and West Indies batsman Assad Fudadin, will return to national colors come tomorrow when the Jaguars face Jamaica in the 8th round of the WICB Professional Cricket League 4 day tournament.

The left-handed opener who was declared fit to play following a finger injury sustained during the West Indies tour if South Africa, will replace young West Indies Under-19 Shimron Hetmyer for tomorrow’s clash at the Guyana national Stadium against the visitors.

The table leaders will now field a full strength Jaguars team where Fudadin will join forces with his fellow West Indies batsman and senior Guyana players in; Leon Johnson, Narsingh Deonarine, Shivnarine Chanderpaul.

At 9:00hrs today the Jaguars will continue their training at the National Stadium while the Jamaicans are expected to go through their sessions in the afternoon. The team reads:-Rajendra Chandrika, Assad Fudadin, Leon Johnson, Narsingh Deonarine, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Vishaul Singh, Raymon Reifer, Christopher Barnwell, Anthony Bramble,  Veerasammy Permaul, Devendra Bishoo, Keon Joseph and Ronsford Beaton.
