Order and Discipline hammer Beacons 5-1

- Zion Gray records helmet trick

Order and Discipline continued their impressive display in the inaugural Massy United Insurance Company-sponsored Fruta Conquerors U-15 League hammering Beacons 5-1 yesterday at the Tucville Community ground.

Zion Gray opened the scoring for the winners in the first minute lobbing his 27-yard effort from the centre of the field over the head of the custodian and into the middle of the net.

Gray would then double the lead five minutes later with a simple finish into the lower left corner following a one-on-one situation with the advancing ‘keeper after racing away to latch onto a through pass.

Raymond Persaud would etch his name on the scorer’s sheet to make it 3-0, slotting his right footed effort past the advancing ‘keeper following another one-on-one situation in the 20th minute.

Upon the resumption of the second period, Gray would seal his hat-trick in the 40th minute with a strike into the top left hand corner, after running onto a flat right sided cross within the centre of the penalty area.

The helmet trick would then be completed five minutes later as Gray lashed his effort down the centre of the goal, after his initial effort following a one-on-one situation with the ‘keeper was parried back into his path.

Beacons would eventually get on the board in the 60th minute as Nkosi Park scored, volleying a superb right footed strike from 25 yards out in the centre of the field into the right hand corner of the net.
