Berbice Educational Institute (BEI) overcame a three-goal deficit to defeat Vryman’s Erven Secondary 3-2 on penalty kicks when the 5th edition of the Digicel Secondary Schools Football Championship continued yesterday at the Burnham Park ground.
Trailing 3-0 going into the final minutes of the fixture, BEI would level the score line in dramatic fashion, scoring three goals in the space of four minutes to push the matchup into a penalty shoot-out. Colvis Burnett began the comeback as he netted in the 82nd minute.
