In preparation for the visit of Suriname number one veteran unit Flamengo, tournament coordinator Godfrey Norville is seeking the presence of all ex-national and current veteran players today at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) for a practice game at 10:30hrs.
The match will kick start the preparation period for the veteran community as they will host the Surinamese for two fixtures commencing in the first week in November.
Organizer Norville said that both fixtures will be staged at the Bourda-based venue, with the Surinamese locking horns with the Ex-Nationals in the first affair. He further noted that the second matchup will witness a combined Georgetown Veteran team battling with the Surinamese.
