Police look to arrest GDF in Noble House Seafood’s competition

The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) weekend competitions sponsored by Carib Beer, Noble House Seafood’s and the New Building Society are set to continue today and tomorrow at venues in the city.

In the Carib Beer T20 competition today at 9:30hrs and 13:30hrs respectively Transport Sports Club (TSC) will oppose the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) at the Demerara Cricket Club Ground (DCC) while the DCC will play GCC at the same venue approximately four hours later.

The second-division two-day tournament sponsored by Noble House Seafood’s will see Police looking to arrest the soldiers of Camp Ayanganna while the University of Guyana XI will play GCC at Bourda, starting from 11:00hrs today.

In the limited overs format, sponsored by NBS, Malteenoes will play Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) at Malteenoes ground while Everest CC will be at home to Ace Warriors.

Tomorrow, Sophia will square off against St Stanislaus and Muslin Youth Organization (MYO) will play the Diplomats at Malteenoes.

Both matches will commence at 11:00hrs.
