Fans set to win return tickets to B/dos at Guyana Softball Cup 5

The Guyana Floodlights Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) organisers of the fifth annual Guyana Softball Cup competition which gets cracking at month end has teamed up with Survival Travel Agency to make available for lucky spectators return airline tickets to Barbados.

According to a press release from the GFSCA, Survival Travel Agency will be giving away three return tickets to Barbados via LIAT to three lucky spectators at the final of the event, November 1 at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground, Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown.

“Spectators just have to retain their half tickets which cost $500.00, and listen for their numbers to be called,” the release stated.

The three-day tournament will be contested in the Open (male of any age) and Masters categories (male 45 years and over).

The competition will commence October 30 and end November 1.

The two finals, along with three female 10/10 exhibition games starts 11 am at the DCC ground on November 1st.

According to the release, Survival Travel Agency has supporting the GFSCA annual International softball tournament since its inaugural year in 2011.

The Survival Group of Business will also be giving away complimentary tickets for “Guyana Softball Cup” to all customers with purchases of over $5,000 at any of its branches on Sheriff Street and Vlissingen Road, added the release.

Spectators also stand a chance to win 12 hampers with their half tickets while there will be many giveaways at the finals.

The Guyana Softball Cup tournament attracts teams from New York, Florida, Canada and Guyana.

This year’s tournament is being sponsored by Stag, Rubis Guyana, Trophy Stall, Survival, Steve’s Jewellery, WJ Enterprise, A&R Jewanram Printery, Clear Waters, Busta Soft Drinks, Rohan Auto Spares, Mike’s Pharmacy and the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company limited.
