All-rounder Troy Gonzalves (3-32) and Lloyd Lewis (2-18), restricted Albion to 152 despite a composed 56 from national batsman Kandasammy Surujnarine. In reply, PMCC cruised to their target, ending on 156 after Lewis returned to score a classy 56, batting at number three. He was assisted by Joshua Ramsammy who scored an unbeaten 48 as the home team romped to an easy win on home turf.

Batting first, Albion never hit their stride and were restricted by the PMCC bowlers. Gonzalves was his usual classy self in both departments but his teammates offered little assistance.

PMCC got off to a good start, accumulating their first 50 runs inside 10 overs as they attacked the Albion bowlers with Ramsammy taking his team home in 20 overs.

PMCC President Vic Suebarran said that he was happy to see the turnout by the players and was especially elated to see his team putting out good performances after performing well in the Under-19 Club tournaments. Sponsor, Balram Shane was also given a plaque on behalf of the PMCC for his continued sponsorship of the tournament as well as his loyalty to the club over the years.
