In a ground breaking move, the ‘Sport of Kings’ will for the first time be staged in Guyana under floodlights.
Tonight, the Kennard Memorial Turf Club (Bush Lot, Corentyne) will be a hive of activity as Raj Ramcharitar presents a seven-race card starting from 5pm.
In excess of $2M in cash and trophies will be awarded at the historic fixture which will attract thoroughbreds like Iron Man, Princess Stallion, Cassie, Red Jet, Lova Lova, Blondy, Quiet Storm and others in the feature G Class event.
Other races include: the H and Lower, J and Lower, K and Lower, L1 and L2 and an event for unclassified horses. All the events carded will be sprints for two furlongs (400m).
Music will be provided by Crown Vibes International. Admission is $1000.
