Wins for Thunder, Knicks over Lakers, Bulls

Thunder 118, Lakers 78

Kevin Durant scored 22 points and Russell Westbrook handed out 11 assists to lead Oklahoma City to a 118-78 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Durant shot seven of 13 from the field and grabbed eight rebounds in three quarters. Westbrook scored 13 points while center Enes Kanter added 19 points and 14 rebounds in 23 minutes to help Oklahoma City improve to 18-9.

Wizards 109, Hornets 101

Washington guard John Wall had 27 points and 12 assists as the Wizards exacted revenge on the Charlotte Hornets with a 109-101 win.

Garrett Temple scored a career-high 21 points, Jared Dudley added 19 and Marcin Gortat had 18 for the Wizards (11-14).

Knicks 107, Bulls 91

Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony scored 27 points and New York returned to .500 with a relatively stress-free 107-91 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Anthony made 12 of 20 shots from the field and helped the Knicks lead for the final 38-plus minutes on a night when they shot 50 percent from the floor.

Grizzlies 96, Pacers 84

Mike Conley scored 20 points and Marc Gasol added 19 to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 96-84 victory over the Indiana Pacers at FedExForum.

Gasol, who also grabbed 12 rebounds, and Conley, who added eight assists, fueled a late run to push the Grizzlies’ lead to 14 in the closing minutes and keep the Pacers from putting together a comeback.

Rockets 107, Clippers 97

James Harden and Dwight Howard produced double-doubles and the Houston Rockets recorded their fourth consecutive win over the Los Angeles Clippers, 107-97, at Toyota Center.

Harden recorded 18 points and 11 assists while Howard paired 22 points with a game-high 14 rebounds to carry the Rockets (14-14).
