Charlotte hit with second night of unrest after police shooting

CHARLOTTE, N.C.,  (Reuters) – One person was shot dead yesterday in a second night of unrest in Charlotte, North Carolina, officials said, as police in riot gear fired tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse a demonstration against the fatal police shooting of a black man who officers said had refused their orders to drop a handgun.

Indian High Commission donates books to UG

The High Commission of India in Georgetown on Tuesday donated 150 books of 124 titles with multiple copies on various subjects such as Philosophy, History, Information Technology, Climate Change, Religion, Politics, Science, etc.
