Burnette was re-examined at the Better Hope Community Centre by Police Prosecutor David Goodridge and later cross-examined once more by defence attorney Mark Conway.

Meanwhile, the prosecutor also indicated to the court that the daughter of Patricia Sanasie will be testifying via a Skype conference call that will be set up.

The matter was adjourned to February 4 by presiding Magistrate Zamilla Ally-Seepaul for continuation, when more witnesses are set to testify.

Stanton, 39, of Lot 53 Princes Street, Lodge, is charged with killing Sanasie, 45, on January 12, 2015 in front of her Lot 129 Atlantic Gardens home. She was shot multiple times to her upper body at point-blank range while she was opening her gate.
