Kildonan man dies after foot injured in fracas

At about 2000h. last night, the police say that Richard Dundas, 53 years, of Kildonan, Corentyne, was involved in an argument with another man at Kildonan during which a bottle was thrown at him.

The bottle struck him to his left foot and broke, resulting in a wound to his foot, the police said.

Dundas, who was treated at a hospital and sent away, later succumbed while at home.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
