Terrence Madray, 53, was yesterday charged with the murder of his elderly bedridden mother, whom he is accused of beating to death at their Mahaicony home.
Madray of Good Faith, Mahaicony, was not required to plead to the indictable charge which stated on April 21, he murdered Cecelia Madray. He was unrepresented by an attorney.
He appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell at the Mahaica Magistrate’s Court and was remanded to prison until May 24.
Cecelia Madray, also known as “Suzy,” 75, of Lot 2 Good Faith, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, was found dead in her home around 8pm last Thursday evening.
