The police will be seeking advice today from the Chambers of the Director of Public Prosecutions before instituting charges against the six suspects in Thursday’s murder of Professor Perry Mars.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum confirmed yesterday that the file will be sent today and based on the advice given charges would be instituted.
Mars of Bissessar Avenue, Prashad Nagar, was found bound and beaten in his home about 1830h on Thursday by his wife. He was rushed to a hospital where he later died.
The following day, police arrested four men and two women and recovered a sum of cash, a laptop computer, an I-phone and a play station believed to have been taken from Mars’ residence.
