Charges were yesterday read to the former husband of Babita Sarjou, who disappeared almost 6 years ago, and his alleged accomplice who were held by police in relation to her murder.
Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan read a murder charge to Anand Narine and his co-accused Darrol Compton called ‘Yankee’, 35, which alleged that on November 4, 2010 at Georgetown they murdered Babita Sarjou.
