Detectives in Division ‘C’ are investigating the murder of Orrette West, 28 years, a bodywork technician, of Guyhoc Park, which occurred about 00:30h. today on the Railway Embankment in the vicinity of Plaisance, ECD.
Investigation so far revealed that West was in the company of his girlfriend, when an argument ensued between him and an unidentified assailant over a fight they had some time ago. As a result the assailant pulled out a knife and fatally stabbed West in the left side of his chest and escaped.
The suspect has not yet been arrested.
