The Guyana Police Force is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Tedd De-Young, who was involved in an altercation with a male juvenile on June 12, 2016. The incident occurred at Lake Capoey Mission, Essequibo Coast, the police said.
De-Young was stabbed about his body and was admitted to Suddie Hospital. The suspect was charged with attempted murder and remanded to the Juvenile Holding Centre, Sophia.
