The 15-year-old boy who was shot in his head on Sunday has been transferred to ICU and is recovering.
Jahmaul Lewis was sitting on his bicycle in the yard of Green Ice Taxi Service’s base at Wren Avenue, South Ruimveldt, around 1 pm on Sunday, when three men stormed the yard and held him and the other workers up. He was shot to his head and subsequently rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Yesterday Jahmaul’s mother, Denessa Lewis explained that he had undergone a successful surgery and is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the hospital.
The police are still reviewing CCTV footage and have not yet been able to make any arrests.
