Wismar man remanded over break-in

A Wismar man, charged with break and enter and larceny was on Tuesday remanded to prison when he appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Linden Magistrate’s Court.

Terrence Lowenfield, 24, of 754 One Mile, Wismar, who appeared in court for the second time for this month, is accused of breaking into the home of Jermaine Maison at Lot 16 Dahlia Street, Wismar, between May 15 and 16, and stealing one 48” flat-screen television valued $230,000, one iPhone valued $40,000, one Samsung S3 valued $45,000 and one Blu cell phone valued $20,000, a total of $335,000

Lowenfield pleaded not guilty to the charge but bail was denied. He will return to court on June 28.
