Retired High Court Judge Desmond Burch-Smith passed away on August 2 at the age of 77.
A death announcement in the Sunday Stabroek of August 7 says his funeral will be held tomorrow. There will be a viewing at the Merriman’s Funeral Home from 12 noon to 1 pm. Viewing and tributes will take place at the Trinity Methodist Church from 1.30 pm and the funeral service will begin at 3 pm.
Justice Burch-Smith also served as Chief Magistrate, Principal Magistrate and Registrar of the Supreme Court.
