Dear Editor,
It is indeed a brilliant decision to have the Stabroek Market area cleaned, cleared and restored, but at the same time, I hope this venture is not only for the month of May and it returns to what it used to be after that. Maintenance is the key factor.
On the other hand, I hope the Mayor and City Council can act fast and have the parking and vending facilities sorted out, because these are not showcasing a positive image to the world as we celebrate Guyana’s 50th Independence Jubilee.
