Delay in pension distribution at Rosignol was rectified

Reference is made to your publication’s June 2, 2016, letter captioned, ‘Pensioners wait for hours for money outside Blairmont [Rosignol] Post Office.’ The Guyana Post Office Corporation wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The aforementioned delay transpired on the first day of pension distribution but was subsequently rectified. Notwithstanding the foregoing, staff of the Rosignol Post Office remain committed to serving the public.
