Dear Editor,
I am greatly encouraged by the governance practices of President David Granger. As a PPP/C supporter I feel that the governing APNU+AFC and the opposition PPP/C can work together through consensus politics thereby building trust, mutual understanding and mutual respect.
I believe that this is a great opportunity for the PPP/C (in particular, Opposition Leader Bharrat Jagdeo) to work with President Granger to help develop a united Guyana. We may never get this opportunity again. Let’s not just oppose just for the sake of opposing.
We in Guyana have to make up for lost time in development because of continued infighting for partisan reasons.
