Dear Editor,
Kindly permit me to point out that the Bill laid in the National Assembly on November 21 is to pay a pension to Hamilton Green specifically, not to former prime ministers generally. The Bill itself being ad hominem, all the remarks of TIGI, GHRA and private citizens on the further enrichment of that individual must be taken into consideration by the public and by the politicians who profess to represent Guyanese voters.
