Attorney-at-Law Rexford Jackson has officially been elected the Presi-dent of East Coast of Demerara heavyweight Victoria Kings when the entity staged its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, January 17th at the Victoria Community Centre.
According to an official release form the club “The elections which were observed by EDFA Vice President Gregory Wickham saw Jackson win without any competition since the other candidate who was vying for the presidency pulled out of the race”.
The correspondence further noted “Business woman Carlotta De Jesus is the new vice president, Kenwyne Nurse and Calvin Marks were also voted in back as Treasurer and Secretary respectively”.
It continued “Delon Vangronigen is the new Team Manager and Anu George is the new Equipment Manager. The new president charged the players and new management to work to bring about holistic development in the club and the country”.
“While outgoing President Idi Wilson thanked the players and the old management for the opportunity that they had given him to run the club” the release concluded.
