Tourney hosts Fruta Conquerors-A made the perfect start to their u-19 Championship, downing Order and Discipline 4-0 in the event opener yesterday at the Tucville Community ground.
Leon Sealey commenced the rout in the seventh minute with a right foot strike from the top of the box which took a deflection off a player and settled into the roof of the net.
It then became 2-0 in the 37th minute as Tefon Daly scored, curling left foot free-kick from the right side of the field over the head of the keeper and into the left corner of the net.
The score line ballooned once more in the 66th minute as Nehemiah Gomes stabbed home down the centre of the net from inside the centre of the box.
The lopsided contest was sealed two minutes later as Gerald Sobers, racing in from the right side of the field before cut across the body of his marker and finishing powerfully into the lower right hand corner. Action in the event is slated to resume at the same venue on Saturday April 23rd.
