Jeban Crawford emerged winner of Sunday’s 50-mile road race which was staged in Berbice.
In the fixture which organized by the Flying Ace Cycle Club and the Region Six Jubilee Committee, Crawford led Andrew Hicks and Brian Harris onto the podium. Crawford also pocketed three of the eight sprint prizes.
Syborne Fernandes placed fourth in the vent which was only open for cyclists of the Ancient County.
Whitney Poyer took home the spoils on the distaff side.
The race was the final warm up for riders competing in the 34th annual Independence Three-Stage road race which will be staged on May 14 and 15.
