King aiming for winning return to the ring

United States of America-based light heavyweight prospect, Jermin ‘Starboy’ King will try to shake off some ring rust when he returns to the ring Saturday night in Huntington, West Virginia, USA.

The skillful orthodox fighter (1-9-1) will take on power-punching Daniel Craycraft (14-22-4) in a four-round fight after being out of action since last June.

The former Albouystown resident, now Brooklyn-based fighter, is looking to get back into shape as he prepares for a potential title shot down the road.

“It’s been almost 11 months now since my last fight but I was always in the gym waiting for the right time get back,” King told Stabroek Sport recently.

He added “This is my second fight at light heavy I want to get back to winning and building my record so I can get a title shot down the road.”

King said leading up to Saturday’s bout, he was doing a lot of sparring and putting in other work at the Gym X training facility and is confident of a victory in two days.
