GBTI joins sponsors for Jaguars clash with Canada

The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) become the latest sponsor to throw its support behind the Canada and Guyana International Friendly, donating an undisclosed amount to the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) yesterday.

According to a press release from the GFF, the arrangement was formalised at a brief presentation ceremony at the Bank’s High Street, Kingston headquarters.

The Public Relations and Marketing Manager of GBTI, Pamela Binda expressed her company’s optimism about this partnership.

“This is the first time that GBTI has partnered with the GFF and we do hope this is one of many partnerships that will come forth. We are especially proud … since this is our 50th Jubilee anniversary and we can be a part of this historic International Friendly”, she said.

First Vice President of the GFF, Brigadier Bruce Lovell (Rtd.) expressed the GFF’s satisfaction at this partnership.

“We at the GFF are indeed gratified for the support that GBTI is giving to us for this International Friendly match, Guyana vs Canada and we see it as a harbinger of things to come in the years ahead where we can develop a more fruitful and long-lasting relationship”, he said.
