The West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) leg of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/NAMILCO Thunderbolt Flour Power Under-17 Championship will resume today and tomorrow at the Den Amstel ground.
Today from 12:00hrs, Vergenoegen unit Slingerz FC will begin their campaign when they oppose Wales FC while the event continues tomorrow at the same venue with hosts Den Amstel locking horns with Eagles FC from 12:00hrs.
Meanwhile, in the opening fixture, Den Amstel defeated Beavers FC 2-0 through goals from Romario Peters and Michael Clarke in the 27th and 47th minutes respectively.
