Head Office crush Central Services by 116 runs

A belligerent 93 from Jailall Udan propelled Head Office to a crushing 116-run win over Central Services when the Banks DIH Limited Inter-Department Cricket Championship continued on Tuesday.

The innings, the highest to date, came off approximately 40 balls at the Thirst Park Venue. No bowler was spared from the assault as Udan blasted nine sixes  and six fours as Head Office romped to 155-5 in their 12 overs.

The next best scorer was Paul Ramcharitar’s 12 runs. R. Paddy bowled well for his 2-28 but he was not spared from the blitz as Udan hammered three sixes from his second over. In reply, Central Services stuttered to a paltry 39 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotment. No batsman was able to achieve a double figure score, with extras of 20 runs being the major contributor.  For the batsmen, S. Cramer top scored with six. Bhola Tiwari captured 3-6 in his three over spell.
