Amputee clinic holds Day of Sports

The Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre (PRRC) amputee clinic held their “Amputee Day of Sports” recently at the National Park according to a media bulletin from the PRRC.
The participants competed against each other in wheelchair basketball, assisted racing, challenge race and wheelchair shot put, proving that age and physical impairment do not have to be barriers in living an active and healthy lifestyle.
Top competitors in each event, as well as participants were rewarded for their efforts.
