According to the release, the play was first staged as Victoria’s Secrets in November 2014 and has been re-worked as a special Golden Jubilee event. It stated that the script was partly written from the historical works of President David Granger, Tommy Payne and William Arno.

Legend, the release said, is an exciting story, with a pinch of romance in a love triangle and a dab of comedy. It is said to be a dramatic historical re-enactment of a triangular love affair involving the attractive Victoria, the possessive Samuel Burke and the amorous Stipendiary Magistrate Thomas Porter Jr. Intertwined is a local legend involving a Victoria woman who was found strangled with her own scarf.

Carib Feedback Productions intends to take the dramatic production and the musical showcase to several venues around the country throughout the year of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the release said.
