President pardons five women prisoners

President David Granger, pursuant to powers under article 188(2) of the Constitution has granted Presidential Pardons to five women prisoners whom he considered fit and proper to receive such pardons, according to a statement from the Minis-try of Public Security.

Oil plunges 5 pct on disappointment with OPEC cuts

NEW YORK,  (Reuters) – Oil prices tumbled 5 percent yesterday as the extension of output curbs by OPEC and other producing countries disappointed investors who had hoped for larger cuts, leading to the biggest daily percentage slide in crude prices since early March.
