Lazio secured their third win in the Bartica zone of the NAMILCO under-17 League, hammering Riverview 5-0, compliments of an Ariel Burnett hat-trick on Thursday at the Bartica Secondary School ground.
It was the third consecutive loss for Riverview, who were put to the sword by the exploits of Burnett, as he took his tally to six goals. Burnett found the back of the net in the sixth, 14th and 31st minute.
Adding to the scoreline were Ezekiel King and Toriano Panday, who scored in the 30th and 55th minute, respectively.
Meanwhile, Strikers FC downed Beacons 3-1. Jemain Mitchell, Andre Burnett and Shawn Hubbard scored for the winner in the 23rd, 39th and 55th minute, respectively. On target in the loss was Troy Dougan in the 50th minute.
