A post-mortem examination that was conducted on Monday revealed that he died as a result of haemorrhage due to blunt trauma to the head.
According to a police press release, the father and son had an altercation during which Azeez was allegedly struck to his head with a piece of wood.
A report was made to the police, who were initially told that Azeez fell off a ladder at his place. However, following the post-mortem examination, a further investigation was conducted and the father reportedly confessed to the crime.
