New GPC donates to flood relief

New GPC  Inc  has donated medical supplies to the Ministry of Public Health in an effort to combat the rise of any infectious or airborne diseases as a result of the flooding in Regions 7 and 8, a release from the company said yesterday.

At a handing over ceremony, done at the Ministry of Health, New GPC Inc. representatives said that “one of the core values of the company is to be involved in the communities we serve and especially in times of natural disasters.”

With this donation from New GPC INC. relief would be provided to hundreds of residents in the affected communities to treat any health related illness which arise due to the flooding.

Among the items donated by New GPC were Doxycycline which is used as a prophylaxis for Leptospirosis, Dimenhydrinate tabs and liquids which are used to treat vomiting and diarrhoea, Co-trimoxazole suspension which is an antibiotic, various other liquid preparations, creams, ointments, disinfectant and multivitamins.
