Guyana will participate in the International Monetary Fund’s Public Investment Manage-ment Assessment (PIMA), workshop in St. George’s, Grenada from May 30 – June 2, 2017, a release from the Ministry of the Presidency said yesterday.
Coming out of Cabinet’s discussions, it was decided that Financial Analyst II in the Project Cycle Management Division, Tracy Blair and Head of Regional Planning, Miguel Choo-Kang of the Ministry of Finance will attend the workshop.
The workshop will seek to ensure that there exists in participating countries, capacity among officials to manage public investments across the stages of planning, allocation and implementation, the release said.
