A Universal Church Kingdom of God (UCKG) worshipper died yesterday during the church service.
Stabroek News was told that the man collapsed as the church service was ongoing at the Charlotte and Wellington Sts building. Up to press time he was unidentified. The body is at the Lyken’s Funeral Home.
Persons in the vicinity of the Brazilian church said that after the man collapsed around 8.30 pm, members summoned an ambulance which responded and attempted to administer medical aid. However, the man had already passed away and they then summoned a hearse.
Members of the church were tightlipped and quickly evacuated the church building.
