Woman charged with forging husband’s will

A woman was yesterday granted bail by a city magistrate, after being charged with forging her deceased husband’s will.

Liloutie Prasad, was read the charge by Magistrate Judy Latchman, which stated that on December 11, 2015, at Charlotte Street, with intent to defraud, she forged the will of Sase Narine Ramsaywack.

The woman denied the allegation levelled against her.

Prosecutor Shawn Gonsalves made no objection to bail being granted.

As such, Prasad was released on $200,000 bail, and will make her next court appearance on June 30.
