“After I ain’t see he I beg a boy with a bicycle through the street, to ride up and see if he see me husband anyway”, the wife said. She added that after she solicited the young man’s help, a police van drove past her with persons inside but she said she took it for nothing. “When the police van fly pass me, I start to call my husband phone and no reply, no answer” she said. Nadia said it was not until 10:00 pm she decided to retry her husband’s number and a woman answer and told her to come down to the Georgetown Hospital Accident and Emergency Ward. “I say man I can’t come down now, I’ll come down early in the morning”. She added that early the next morning the police called her to inform her that Dublin had died and she was needed at the station to make a statement.

The wife explained that she does not know who killed her husband, she said that she does not know if it is the same person who sprayed her husband’s eyes or if it was someone else he was in an argument with. Nadia said that no one in the community has told her anything regarding the circumstances which led to the death of Dublin.

The residents in the area where the body was found remain tight-lipped as to what had transpired.
