The partially decomposed body which was found in a clump of bushes at Long Creek, Soesdyke-Linden Highway almost two months ago has been identified as that of Mukesh Tobin.
Tobin’s body was discovered around 10.30 am on June 12. A police source on Saturday said that while murder is suspected, no arrest has been made as yet.
This newspaper had previously reported that the discovery was made by a labourer who works in the area. At the time of the discovery, Tobin’s hands were bound and he was clad in black jeans, white jersey and a pair of slippers.
However, due to the state of decomposition, investigators were unable to determine if the body bore any marks of violence.
