ZARA Group, Police Force launch UG scholarships programme

The ZARA Group of Companies and the Guyana Police Force (GPF) have launched a scholarship programme for four prospective full-time University of Guyana students.

According to a joint press release, two of the scholarships, which will cover one hundred percent of the tuition fee at the University of Guyana for four years, will be available to the public and the remaining two will be offered to the immediate family members of ranks of the Guyana Police Force.

The release said the students would be required to maintain a Grade Point Average of at least 3.0. If two or more candidates are eligible, the shortlisted candidates will be selected via a random draw, it added.
