GTT on Saturday said that for more than three months its customers have been unable to receive text messages (SMS) from Digicel customers because of programming problems on the Digicel network.
GTT in a press release said that it became aware of the issue due to feedback from its customers. Having discerned that there were problems on the Digicel network that have been the cause for this issue, GTT’s technical team has been providing assistance to have the issues on that company’s network settled, GTT said.
To date, and despite the continuous guidance and help from the GTT team, GTT said that the problems on the Digicel network, causing this issue, have not been rectified.
GTT customers continue to have the ability to send text messages to Digicel customers.
