Another motorcyclist lost his life yesterday after colliding with a truck along the Airy Hall Public Road, Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara (ECD) as he made his way home from Suriname.
Dead is Arnold Tinnis, 48, a mechanic of East Ruimveldt while fellow biker Eze Powley, 44, also a mechanic of 28 John Street, Campbellville has been admitted to the Mahaicony hospital.
Stabroek News understands that the incident occurred around 3 pm yesterday when Tinnis was proceeding west along the southern driveway of the road on motorcycle CJ 2623 in a group comprising seven other bikers, all of whom were said to have returned to Guyana after attending an annual ride to Suriname.
