Uitvlugt pasture mason remanded over three armed robberies victims relieved of $3.5M in items

Accused of committing three separate robberies of items totaling $3.5 million, a mason was remanded to prison for the crimes, which also left one complainant injured.

It is alleged that Ivor Billingly, of Lot 67 Uitvlugt Pasture, West Coast Demerara, together with others and armed with a gun, on July 21, at Middle Street, Georgetown, robbed Kuebena Wright, of $1,500,000 and a Republic of Guyana passport, with a total value of $1,515,000.

It is further alleged that the accused, on August 15, at Church Street, while armed with a gun, robbed Peter Ten Kurt Faah, of $1,200,000, an iPhone 6, valued at $150,000, a Samsung Galaxy cellphone, valued at $35,000 and a wallet valued at $15,000. The total value of the items being $1,400,000.

The final charge stated that on the said date and location, together with others and armed with a gun, the defendant robbed Sunil Gobin of two Samsung Galaxy cellphones, valued at $500,000, a Samsung Galaxy S7 cellphone, valued at $150,000 and $10,000 cash. The total value of the items
