Mocha man charged with robbing group at Second Bridge

A twenty-seven-year-old Mocha resident has been charged with six counts of armed robbery after he was yesterday identified as the man who robbed a group of persons early Tuesday morning at Second Bridge, Mocha, East Bank Demerara.

Spokesman of the Guyana Police Force, Jairam Ramlakhan in a press release said that the suspect, Dillion Joel Dublin of Lot 96 Nelson Street, Mocha, was arrested around 11am on Tuesday.

Ramlakhan said that an identification parade was held yesterday during which Dublin was positively identified by the victims. He has been charged with robbing six persons including three females and is expected to appear in court tomorrow.
